L.I.F.E. Inc. of Indiana Investment Grant Proposal
We are pleased to announce that L.I.F.E. Inc. has been awarded this Grant!
This grant would allow L.I.F.E. Inc. to provide direct service workers with bonus pay, cover increased overtime due to current employee staffing levels during this hard economic time.
Intended Use of Grant Money
Current employee shortages are causing staffing issues that has directly resulted into increased overtime. Current overtime expenses have made it very difficult to increase employee wages, offer employee bonuses, and to provide other resource to our employees. This Direct Service Workforce Grant will assist L.I.F.E. Inc. to pay employee bonus as well as to pay overtime cost. This grant would help L.I.F.E. Inc. to ensure that we can offer new employees sign on bonus, as well as to referral bonuses to our current employees to help in the efforts to attract new employees during this current hiring crisis. The State set a mandate that 95% of the grant funds must go directly to DSP’s. L.I.F.E. Inc., has decided that 100% of the grant funding will go directly towards current and future DSP’s in the form of bonuses and overtime payments.
